Sewing Workshop: Upcycled Clothes (for school-age kids and teens)

School-age kids and teens are invited to drop in and upcycle clothes. Bring your own or use the materials provided. Turn a shirt into a dress, pants into shorts, or add some pizzaz to old clothes. Staff will provide hands-on instruction, access to sewing machines, tools, and fabric, and assist kids with their projects as needed. Attendees should be able to follow directions, safely operate a sewing machine, and wait patiently for assistance and instruction. Caregivers are encouraged to accompany and assist young children.
