Murder in Elkhorn: The Culvert Case Then & Now
On August 24, 1928, the body of a young woman was discovered in a ditch culvert three miles outside of Elkhorn. Despite a year-long investigation and sensational nationwide press coverage, this murder was never solved, nor was the victim ever identified. Join Elkhorn Mayor Bruce Lechner, Elkhorn Police Chief Joel Christensen, City Attorney Ward Phillips, and Culvert Case researcher and author E. G. Voss for a detailed look at the notorious case and how the investigation would be conducted differently today.
