Line Dancing with Terri
You will have fun as you shuffle, slide and boogie your way through an hour of engaging your brain & body. You'll be surprised at the exercise you can get while having such a great time. The instructor, Terri, has been a certified group fitness instructor for eighteen years, as well as a certified personal trainer and line dance instructor for four years. Specifically for line dancing, she teaches at a beginner level to insure participation and positive energy. She teaches weekly classes at East Troy Park District on Tuesdays from 6-7pm and at Elkhorn Park District on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. Information can be found on the parks’ websites or Facebook pages.
She looks forward to helping you explore this great form of exercise that not only uses movement, but music and patterns to stimulate your body and mind. Line dancing has been shown by accredited Yale/Stanford studies to be one of the best ways to prevent cognitive decline.
