Snowball Sledding Shindig
DUE TO OTHER FRIGID WEATHER TURNING OUR SNOW INTO ICE, WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO POSTPONE OUR SNOWBALL SLEDDING SHINDIG THIS SATURDAY, THE 21ST. WE ARE JUST AS DISAPPOINTED AS YOU ARE, BUT THE HILLS AT SUNSET PARK ARE LOOKING KINDA BARE, AND THE ICE WOULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE FOR ALL. STAY TUNED FOR A FUTURE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED HERE ON FACEBOOK!
It's a family fun event of sledding, skating (weather permitting), snow forts, snowballs, snowmen and snacks at Sunset Park. When warmth is needed, come inside the recreation center and warm up with hot chocolate and coffee. Plus indoor games for young children.
Professional photos will be taken at noon with everyone on the hills for use by the Elkhorn Chamber and Elkhorn Recreation Department.
