The Webster House Museum will be the site of a Civil War Encampment to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the end of the conflict. Sponsored by the Walworth County Historical Society, the encampment will consist of Grand Army of the Republic reenactors on the lawn and a number of indoor Civil War displays in Heritage Hall across the street. The event will feature musket firing demonstrations, kids scavenger hunt for prizes, tours of the historic Civil War era Webster House, tours of the Weterans Museum in Heritage Hall and a talk on the 1938 "The Last Great Reunion of the Blue and Gray" by reenactor Mike Wozny. Some additional activities include an old fashioned church service on Sunday at 9am and at 1pm a Ladies Historic Fashion Show. Event is Saturday noon-4pm and Sunday 9am-4pm. Donations will be accepted.
