Sewing Workshop: Scrappy Quilts (for school-age kids and teens)
School-age kids and teens are invited to drop in and get started on their own quilt. Basic sewing machine skills and the use of an iron are required for this project. Staff will provide hands-on instruction, access to sewing machines, tools, and fabric, and assist kids with their projects as needed. Attendees should be able to follow directions, safely operate a sewing machine, and wait patiently for assistance and instruction. Caregivers are encouraged to accompany and assist young children.
