Bring the Heat. Build the Community. — Chili Cookoff

Think you make the best chili in town—or just love tasting great chili? Join Breathe, Inc., Ducks Unlimited, and The Niche Café & Wine Bar for a fun-filled evening of chili, friendly competition, raffles, prizes, and community camaraderie on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at The Niche Café & Wine Bar at the entrance of Geneva National.

Local chili cooks are invited to bring a crockpot of their best recipe and compete for bragging rights, with awards for People’s Choice, Best Overall Chili, and Most Creative. Not a cook? Come hungry! Guests can sample the entries, cast their votes, enjoy Ducks Unlimited raffles and merchandise, and spend the evening connecting with friends and neighbors.

Setup begins at 5:00 PM, with tasting and voting from 6:00–8:00 PM.

More than a cookoff, this is an evening about bringing people together and making an impact. Come for the chili, stay for the fun, and help us strengthen the community we all call home.
