DESCRIPTION:Bethel United Methodist Church is excited to share that we will be hosting a FREE Patriotic Concert at Bethel UMC on Sunday\, August 30\, beginning at 1:30 pm. Bethel's very own Chris Ghilani\, Terri Weiland Anderson\, and Beth Perry\, along with crowd favorite\, Maria Sharpe\, will be the musicians and hosts for the concert. The concert will begin with Songs of the Civil War\, including songs by Elkhorn's own JP Webster. Included in the concert will be an inspiring PowerPoint filled with images to compliment the music. The patriotic section will include a number of sing-alongs which will allow the audience to participate. Award-winning local actress\, Beth Perry\, will narrate the program. Instruments used during the concert will be guitars\, autoharps\, recorder\, and whistle. There is no cost to attend the concert. Rumor has it there may be cookies at intermission.
