DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Doris M. Reinke\n\n \n\nThe Walworth County Historical Society is honoring Doris M. Reinke on Saturday\, April 23 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Heritage Hall in Elkhorn.  Doris has been its leader and supporter of the preservation of Walworth County history for present and future generations to enjoy and learn.  The long time Elkhorn educator continued to focus her efforts on education in retirement with her leadership and support of the society both financially and with day-by-day care of the Webster House Museum.  She led the group to establish the Resource Center for the repository of document which provides records of Walworth County land and residents. On May 17\, 2003\, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held opening and naming the center after her and was attended by Congressman Paul Ryan\, State Senator Neal Kedzie\, Assemblyman Steve Nass\, and County Board member Bill Norem.
