DESCRIPTION:ELKHORN OKTOBERFEST IS COMING!\n\n\n\nWhat a rollercoaster the last 6 months have been. With several events and local festivities being cancelled or postponed\, we are excited to announce that we are moving forward with Elkhorn Oktoberfest. Conversations with the Elkhorn Chamber's Board and Staff and Community Leaders have led us to believe we can safely move forward with our planning. That being said\, preparations have begun for one of Elkhorn's largest community events\, the 15th Annual Elkhorn Oktoberfest\, which will be held Saturday\, October 17\, 2020 from 9am-5pm at Veterans Park   downtown Elkhorn. This family friendly event will be an outdoor festival that family and friends can enjoy while maintaining social distancing and safety measures.\n\nThis year expect to see the park filled with craft and commercial vendors alike! Walk the line on Wisconsin St and enjoy local and German cuisine from one of our 15+ food vendors! LIVE MUSIC will plug in at our Park Stage starting at 12pm and play till our day ends. A new twist is coming with the exploration of downtown at our All Around Town Beer/Wine Tasting. Plan on signing up for the Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk and sticking around to walk through our Annual Classic Car Show. Needless to say\, there will be lots to keep the whole family entertained and enough space to keep everyone safe.\n\n\n\nSadly we will not be able to host our Annual Chili Cook Off! We look forward to seeing all our local competitors in 2021!\n\n\n\nSee you in October friends!\n\n\n\nDon't forget your lederhosen & dirndls!
