DESCRIPTION:5TH ANNUAL VICTORY OVER VIOLENCE  Walk or Paddle to End Abuse Held Sat August 19 7 - 11 am\, Williams Bay\n\n \n\nThe local Association for the Prevention of Family Violence will hold their annual fundraiser\, a walk or paddle (kayak\, paddle board or cafe) on the Lake Geneva shore path (or around the water\, along the shore) Sat. morning August 19\, 7 - 9 am from Wesley Woods (250 Stam St. Williams Bay) to Cedar Point\, with walkers able to choose any portion of a 6-m course.  Along the route\, a unique poker run will be provided with prizes for winning hands.  A continental breakfast will also be served at the conclusion of the event.  \n\n \n\nParticipants may begin by 7am and all walkers or paddlers should plan to start by 9am at the latest.  Pre-registration (recommended) can be done via Active.com (Victory over Violence) or through the APFV website\, www.apfvwalworth.com  Cost is $35 and all donation are 100% tax deducible.  Registration will also be possible that morning.  (Call APFV 262-723-4653 for information on canoe or paddle rental\, if desired.)
